La Paix Sai Gon is a cozy boutique hotel right in the heart of District 1. My room was basic but clean, and the staff were incredibly friendly. However, the lack of windows in most rooms did detract from my experience. Overall, it’s a decent option for those looking to explore the city, despite some minor issues.

The staff, especially Kim and Hoang at the front desk, went out of their way to assist me with queries and even helped with food delivery. On the downside, the soundproofing could use some improvement as I could hear the comings and goings from the elevator and doors late at night.
